Margherita Pizza

  • 2 x pre-made Pizza Bases
  • 100ml Tomato Passata
  • 1 x handful Fresh Basil or 1tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 x garlic clove, crushed
  • Charleville Grated Mozzarella
  • Drizzle of Olive Oil
  • Extra Fresh Basil for garnish


  • Make the sauce: Mix the passata, basil and crushed garlic together, then season to taste. Leave to stand at room temperature
  • Top and bake: heat the oven to 240C/220C fan/gas 8 and pre-heat baking trays/pizza stone
  • Smooth sauce over bases with the back of a spoon. Scatter with cheese, drizzle with olive oil and season
  • Bake pizzas for 15-20 mins until crisp (or as per packaging recommendation)
  • Serve with a little more olive oil, and basil leaves if using.
